Our show theme has been selected… auditions have been held… rehearsals have started… but we still need lots of help backstage and in the front of the house, so if you are interested in being a volunteer for our holiday shows, read on! Theater expertise welcomed but not necessary!
STAGE CREW, SET BUILDERS, PROP CREATORS
While the Revels cast prides itself on its DIY approach to building the “theater things” you need in a show — like sets, props and other physical items — we always welcome anyone with an interest and a skill set to help us create the magic. If the idea of being part of a show sounds fun but being on stage sounds scary, you might find your role backstage, where there are numerous necessary tasks that need to be performed. If you are handy with hand tools or just dig wearing all black, give us a holler at info@rockymountainrevels.org, preferably before Oct. 1 so we can see if there’s a fit in the flow.
USHERS, TICKET TAKERS, THEATER ASSISTANCE
Want to help the show but don’t have time for weekly rehearsals or weekend set work? No problem, we also have a need for show-day-only assistance, with roles like ticket taking, ushing (is that a word?) or other handy help on our nights at the Dairy Center. A fun way to get to see the show for free! Again, give us a holler at info@rockymountainrevels.org if that sounds like fun.
